Student Expectations

Arrival & Dismissal

• Breakfast is from 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM. Arrival will begin at 8:00 AM. You will go start going to class at this time. At 8:10 AM all the doors to the yard will be closed.
• Dismissal is at 2:20 PM in the yard. At 2:30 PM you will be escorted inside to the auditorium for Late Pick up.
• If you have a walking slip, you are allowed to walk home.

Attendance

• Class begins at 8:00 AM. Your teacher will be taking attendance by 9:00 AM.
• You are considered late after 8:10 AM. If you come into the school after 8:10 AM you will get a late pass from the South Courtyard.
• If you are a student in grades 3-5 you will eventually walk upstairs on your own and students in grades K -2 will be escorted upstairs.

Daily Schedule

Effective for the 2026-2027 school year, the following will be the period schedule:

• 1st period: 8:00 AM - 8:50 AM
• 2nd period: 8:55 AM- 9:45 AM
• 3rd period: 9:50 AM- 10:40 AM
• 4th period: 10:45 AM- 11:35 AM(4 & 5 Lunch)
• 5th period: 11:40 AM- 12:30 PM(K & 1 Lunch)
• 6th period: 12:35 PM- 1:25 PM(2 & 3 Lunch)
• 7th period: 1:30 PM- 2:20 PM
• Dismissal 2:20 PM -2:25 PM

Cell Phone Policy

We know that cell phones are important, so we’ve created a safe way to keep them protected during the school day. Each morning, you’ll place your phone in a secure box on your assigned number. Once everyone has placed their phone, the box will be locked and kept safe. At the end of the day, you’ll get your phone back.

Behavior Rewards

• We use Solved as a reward system.Teachers will be giving points when students actively show one of the BRAVE actions.
• Once students receive points, they willbe able to shop at our BRAVE store.There are many fun things to choose from!
• Once they shop, a staff member will come and deliver purchased items.
